My career began in radio and today continues in digital media, music distribution and entrepreneurship.
In this video I talk about my move from my radio years into the digital world, how the music industry has changed, the difference between a producer and a distributor, the classic mistakes and common confusions musicians run into, and how digital music distribution lets you actually make money from music.
I started my professional career in radio in 2007. Over the years I took my career in a new direction, working in digital media, social media, YouTube, music distribution and digital marketing. Looking back today, I think going digital was one of the best decisions I ever made.
I also cover topics like making money on Spotify and earning income from other digital music platforms.
I still love radio, but I'm glad I kept up with the times.
