Life in Spain: Les Roquetes Market and the Colors of Barcelona

Together we explore the local market set up right near my home in Les Roquetes, Barcelona. What surprised me most in this video was how much calmer and quieter the market was than I expected.
Weekly neighborhood markets in Spain (mercadillo) are usually set up early in the morning and completely packed away between 14:00 and 15:00. Once the stalls are cleared, the streets quickly reopen to cars and pedestrians. This routine is part of a system that many municipalities in and around Barcelona have followed for years.
In this video I share, through my own eyes, the atmosphere of Les Roquetes, Spain's local market culture, daily life and life around Barcelona.
On my journey from Türkiye to the US and then to Spain, I keep sharing entrepreneurship, life abroad, Barcelona, daily life, European experiences and my discoveries on this channel.
